The rental conditions of Zilt

  • The rental period is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Identification required.

  • You are deemed to have received the bicycle in good condition.

  • The tenant will handle the rented property with due care.

  • The bicycle must always be locked and (with the chain supplied).

  • It is forbidden to come to the beach by bicycle.

  • Maximum one person per bicycle or two on a tandem. Children in the front or back of a child seat.

  • The tenant is liable for damage to the rented property. Unless a rental guarantee has been purchased.

  • The tenant himself is legally liable for damage caused to third parties.

  • In case of loss of the bicycle key, € 10.00 will be charged.

  • In case of late return, we are entitled to charge an extra full day's rent.

  • In the event of theft, the current value will be charged, not including the rental price.

  • In case of premature return, the full rent will continue to apply.

  • The use of the bicycle is at your own risk.

  • In the event of a breakdown, you must immediately notify Zilt at Sea. You are responsible for returning the bicycle.

The cancellation conditions of Zilt

You can take out a Rental Guarantee with us that entitles you to a 100% refund up to 1 week before the start of the rental period and you can move the reservation free of charge up to 2 days in advance.

 

Without rental guarantee, the refund in case of cancellation is as follows:

 

  • 7 or more days before the start of the rental period: 50%

  • Up to 3 days before the start of the rental period: 30%

  • 3 days or less before the rental period: no refund

 

You will receive the refund within 7 days.

Zilt's rental guarantee

You can take out a so-called Rental Guarantee for each rented item. If you have agreed warranty coverage with us for an item, you are for the item in question:

 

  1. no compensation is due in the event of theft, if you can show the key to the rented property and report it to the municipality where the theft took place.

  2. no compensation is due for damage to the Accommodation, unless the damage is caused by improper use of the Accommodation;

  3. If canceled up to 7 days before the start of the rental period, you are entitled to a full refund;

  4. Right to move your reservation and / or receive a voucher up to 2 days in advance.
